This Godet bar sold overnight, beautiful condition and matching ribbon bar. Can’t see what the closing offer was but asking was $895. Nice to see a Godet set!

Nice! Such a rare award. The late Rick Research used to make fun of me for some of the places I used to shop. My theory always was that even a bad dealer could get lucky and have something nice. The bar Mike showed originally came from the now defunct Manion’s auction house!

This is an identifiable bar but unfortunately a modern copy. I handled it and returned it. At least he listed it as a reproduction.
