I don’t know the last two you mentioned but the first three are excellent choices for information

Good Morning! Not sure how to date this order but my thoughts are the pre 1914 examples I’ve seen were made in gold whereas the WW1 pieces were silver gilt. You could try eMedals and search his inventory for examples of both eras. He doesn’t seem to clear his sold pieces from online inventory so you might be able to get some ideas there. Good luck with the hunt!

Good Morning! Looks like a nice original piece to me, the slightly tilted frame is consistent with original examples I have owned. The oakleaves look spot on too. Nice original ribbon as well! Congratulations!!

Now at $202.50. I really feel bad for the people who don’t do the homework on what they collect

Sorry, can’t read on that forum

I’ll never understand the splitting of groups! Thanks for confirming this information. I hope someone is able to reunite. I don’t recall ever seeing a Colonial document group before.

Thanks for the link! I see the difference so maybe a Red Cross medal after all. My thoughts were with the Albert Order he must have been promoted so maybe researchable. We shall see! In any event, a nice St. Henry Bar! More pictures when it arrives.

Good Morning Gentlemen, thanks for all the input. Isn’t the TWM a red ribbon with two white stripes?

Negotiated purchase, post 1934 tab-back ribbon bar! Here’s what I see:
1914 EK2
Saxon St. Henry (assuming silver medal)
Saxon Allgemein Ehrenzeichen with Swords
(alternatively Saxon-Altenburg Bravery Medal but I doubt this because of the St. Henry and Albert Order)
Saxon Albert Order with Swords (assuming 2. Kl)
Honor Cross with Swords
Turkish War Medal
i suppose it’s possible the St. Henry could be an RK, but it feels like an enlisted bar. I’ve reached out to Daniel to see if he can find a match. We shall see!!

That seems like a ridiculous price, glad it’s not for me!

I remember this thread and how upset and irate my Evil Twin was over this subject. Multiple groups from the Seymour Collection were broken. Perhaps other members can offer some insight as to how/why this happened but I cannot.

Hi! I’ve seen some utilizing the full neck ribbon and others using a short section of ribbon with buttons or hooks to attach under the collar

Wow! A couple of rather special ones Vince! Thanks for sharing! Love the 60 year button with enamel, first I’ve seen!
