    1. Nice wee pin Don.......could get lost in a collection!! Here is another one that I really like. Mike
    2. And here is the back----and before Don can ask: the words are "POL.FACHSCHAFT" "THURINGEN" and the manufacturer is WERNSTEIN JENA
    3. And here is an interesting one...at least to me...originally thought it was a German Cross....but not for long!! Mike
    4. Sorry about that foul up....got confused....now what is this one??? Mike
    5. [attachmentid=59373]Answer: they just add the swastika to the original.....and I suppose that they can take it off when the next group comes into power!
    6. Question: What does an Imperial/Weimar organization do when the Nazis come into power and they LIKE their original organization design? (see He-Hu p. 374 1f) Note words are: Bei strenger Pflicht getreu und schleicht------
    7. OK....since I'm on a roll....has anyone out there ever seem the Lawyer's/Justice stickpin with oakleaves as shown in He/Hu book?
    8. And here is the third one.....thanks to DS for suggesting using my scanner for pictures....they slide a bit but it is easier in some ways. Mike
    9. You guys are really something!!! I am at a loss for words by the beautiful pins that show up all the time. Congratulations to all of you for the knowledge and collections that y'all must have. I was going through He/Hu and checking off all the pins that I have in the book. I'm not done, but here are three that I haven't found. The backs are unmarked, so there is no need of a photo. More later.
    10. Beautiful pin Florian. Thank you. Is it marked in any way? Would one of the DZR flags been with the collection?
    11. Benten, I apologize for taking so long to reply....been busy. This wonderful stickpin can from an American WWII vet who was part of a party instructed to pick up Prinz Philipp von Hessen at his residence. Philipp was not there---he had been put into a "camp" by Hitler toward the end of the war. In a dresser drawer was this stickpin....end of story. BUT I would speculate that this pin was given to Philipp by Herman Goering since Philipp was his brother-in-law and he tool Goering on a trip through Italy on Goering's second honeymoon. Philipp was German ambassador to Italy at the time. Only speculation however. Pin is made up of diamonds in a platinum setting with rubies for the swastika.....no maker marks....really no place to put them.
    12. and here is the pin......I said that the F and B were in a rectangle---it just could be a BIG "H".......
    13. and the hallmark, other than the Ges. Gesch. on the stickpin is an "F" above a "B" in a vertical rectangle. Someone out there will know who this is/was.
    14. OK Don, here are the fronts and backs of the pins you requested.....and yes, Mr Keen Eyes, one of them is gold---I didn't take pics because it is exactly like the one I've posted.
    15. Could the 3 circles be FLL??? Friedrich Linden Ludenschied?? I'm not at my references right now so the spelling and exact name but that is what I associate with the 3 circles. Mike
    16. Don and Peter.....that is why I asked. I had one at one time, but it never "talked" to me and I was around when they all of a sudden started to appear.
    17. As a probationary member, I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone's beautiful items. It is so interesting how we all love this hobby. Here is my favorite stickpin---it came from Herman Goering's brother-in-law's house. Yes, those are real diamonds--not chips.
    18. Interesting discussion on Luftschutz pins.....what do y'all think of the Danzig Luftschutz pin that is going around? Here is my Luftschutz "drawer"-----let me know if anyone wants to see anything. Mike
