Thank you Don. That would be the first anniversary badge in wear image that I have ever seen.

The older I get the more I am drawn to the Veteran items.
I see many veterans images wearing their medals but few with the member badge and none that I recall of the anniversary badges. One would think they would be seen proudly posing with them.

Has anyone seen period in wear images of any of the RDK or RDF badges?

It is amazing what a simple home life image could represent to individual viewers.

Erich, I appreciate seeing it. Quite a nice symbolic tile. Not a common collectible. is it marked on the reverse?

I looked at my 1st. type examples - they are of multiple construction.
Perhaps some enterprising individual attached a knurled pin to a loose centerpiece?
The full wreath 1st. type Meister/Honor Badge, you show appears to be a one-piece badge, then enameled.

Badge of the Spanish Legion.
A rifle(musket) and a crossbow crossed over a halberd with a centered crown.

Thank you Don.
The two - with wreath and without wreath are the ones I recall having seen.
Also not sure what the without wreath would be for. Unless it is like the center part of my gold example minus the wreath. (?) Perhaps they are all multiple piece construction. I will have to dig out my bronze to see.
First time I recall having seen the Bavarian Meister's.

Thank you Don.
I'm slowly searching for the silver and a Meister in the 1st. type.
Don, do I recall correctly having seen a couple of versions of the 1st. type Meister Honor badge?

Thank you, Don. I was thinking this had passed muster a long time ago. Age makes me forget and the myriad of repros makes me slightly paranoid. 😵

I have seen this also on a R.D.KI. stickpin. The recessed area with raised Ges. Gesch. something.
What is the proper term for the recessed/countersunk area?

Have there been any more sightings of the broach or similar, like shown back on page #2?

Nice examples. All are in good condition. The last two I do not recall having seen them before.

Yes, that wooden unit marked remembrance shovel is quite unique. I assume it once had a banner attached.
Enjoyed seeing it.

Don,
What happened to this forum? Is it tucked away somewhere and I just keep missing it? Or did it become politically incorrect?

Don,
Thank you for posting it. Glad to see my memory is intact.
"Throw out" box? The contents would be interesting to see.

Thank you, Don.
Appears to have been a large family.
I would guess there was not an enamel version of the membership badge.
