Benten, Robert, I thank you both. I remember being told the paper tinnie was thought to be rare but I never looked further into it. Robert, I picked it up from a well respected dealer/collector.

Now for another, not rare but I like it. Undated and unmarked.

After searching for a few days I can locate no examples to support my example! While I do not feel it is a repro. (it appears much more convincing in hand, my scans leave much to be desired) , I can not support it with other examples showing RAD in an up pointing triangle and so Don, if you wish to remove my images untill further investigation reveals an answer I am in full support.

Don, I note your point down triangle has RJAD and my point up triangle has RAD no J in sight. The RJAD seems to be more frequently encountered on RAD items judging from the few RAD items in my collection.

Time frame difference?

Robert, thank you. It is a close match, a different pin was used but they appear to have used what was available at the moment of assembly. I wish my scanner picked up depth better.

Hopefully we will see more examples.

I can not make out your maker mark, can you sketch it?

E.S.P. could well be EUGEN SCHMIDTHAUSSIER, PFORZHEIM.

It is too close to the Holidays for hard feelings.

I own a printed version I find perfectly acceptable!

It does not appear quite the same as the example at the begining of this thread, nor does my example have those stamps.

I am happy with it's autheticity and will not post it for review! I do not desire the grief!

So it is merely my opinion and due to closed minds nothing has been learned. Sad!
