Nice looking piece. IMO that's not a three dollar knock off. Not one I've seen before but can imagine a couple of different methods of suspension.

If someone would be so kind. What is the correct title of the above pin? My research materials are lacking.

Wow! I do like it.
Better a broken shield than a broken bird.
I wonder what bird it represents?

I assume the writting on these were stamped or a decal, (?) But the paint work on your example is superb.

I do remember. The wooden tinnies are a favorite collecting theme of mine. More of a hands on cottage assembled type item. The imagination can just see someone assembling and painting them.
Thanks so much for sharing, --dj--Joe

I wish I could contribute to this topic but my collection is lacking in KdF items.
I just did a run through of all 12 pages quite an array. So many different mediums used in the manufacture of these badges.
Forscherin, did you note ID 49 back on page #2 ?

A pin I have not shelled out the dollars for. Interesting looking. Had no knowledge of there being a 1st or 2nd type.
It would be good to see other examples.

No, not adding much new. Have had it a couple of years. I was digging through old image files.

I observed a 50 year. Marked 5 just as Don's example. Also a 4 marked example.

Wonder what period Carl Wild used the CW in the irregular octagon?

That is a good looking pin. Does Hüsken suggest a time period of use?
I wonder what the algiz (life) rune is meant to represent. Protection/defence, health, birth or Z?
Thanks for showing it Peter.
