Elipse cap badge King Petar II. I have not seen any other variants of this badge in Red Blue White. Usually in Kingdom of Yugoslavia colours Blue White Red.
This is an interesting one. This was originally a firemans cap badge. The axes and helmet from the top have been removed in order to be used as a make shift cap badge during the war. Attached is how the cap badge originally appeared.
These belonged to my late fathers close friend and colleague. Have the matching officers badge (photo is on post Serbia - Original chetnik items). Captain 1st class 45 Infantry regiment
I purchased this a number of years ago. The seller advertised as an early chetnik cap badge (1900s). Have not been able to find any kind of reference on the net. Can anybody shed some light on this?
