Hello
I have a question about albanian M75 officer jackets. Some officers have a closed collar jacket and other have an opened collar jacket. Why ? Did they have the choice ?
Here is a photo with 2 officers wearing a closed collar jacket.

OK but why ? Could you show us an original one ?

Material looks like the same as on original except the sweatband.

I am very surprised to hear it is a "reproduction because albanian militaria from the communist era is very little collected. You should explain us what is wrong with this cap ?

How do you see it is a " modern repro" ?

Thanks for your reply. Romanian army continued to use the old shoulder boards and uniforms only during the transitional period 1990-91. In 1991, they had totally different shoulder boards and new uniforms. I recently had the information from a romanian military who started his carreer in 1989.

Thank you very much for the documentation Carol I. You are right, shoulder boards with withe background are for non-combatants units.

Yes, I know the first one is for communications officer and the second one for a medical officer. But why one has a yellow backgroud and the other one a white ?

You didn't answer to my question ...
I know ranks were abolished in M66 uniforms and it is the same for M75. Opened collar jackets have been reintroduced in 1975, it is the reason you can see some officers wearing these ones. But, some officers continued to wear closed collar jacket. And I am just wondering why some officers continued to wear the closed collar jacket while others wore an opened collar one.
