Hello!
now i have tried to examin the Duppler crosses. I belive the one to the left is original, it has sharper details and the material its made of seems to be of much higher quality and it has the ”extra soldering” where the ring is conected to the cross itself. I have seen it on the 1866 crosses. But the cross to the right is made of some other metal, its surface is very grainy and the left arm has som pitts in it and the upper arm is not straight its oblique. I hope somebody understands what iam trying to say….

Hello!
Okay, so the Alsen cross is crap…. Wrong details, wrong material? Please do explain. I think one of the Duppel crosses are fake, i will try to show in a picture tomorrow.

Hello Saschaw!
Thank you for your opinion! I did put it back in the ”box of shame”, but it seems like i can put in my German Colonial collection then!

Hi Slawek.
Interesting, is this a common method? Never seen befor. Is this medal an early exampel or is it only from another manufacturer?

Hi VtwinVince.
No, no makermark on this one. I suppose its best to find one thats marked if i want to be 100% sure.

Hello collectors!
I couldent find the info i was hunting about this medal. If there is a beter place for my question, you can move it there.
Ibought this one many years ago(10), and it has been in a box ever since and not in my collection, becaus i have had a bad feeling about it… so now i ask Is it original or is it going back to the box of shame.

Hi.
I like to show some of my cockades that i have collected over the years. I only collect cheap badges and medals, and that because im worthless in finding information on the net and i know its a mindfield of fakes out there. So i want to ask if these are alright? If they are genuin i think the one to the far left is oldest and the one to the far right is newest/most modern? Right?
Kind regards Tommy

Hi Andreas!
That sounds very good. Do you know how many numbered medals were issued?
Kind regards, Tommy
