First one is Heinrich Hoffmann, second is Wilhelm Anhalt, third could be Wilhelm Meentzen althought I haven't been able to find another good photo of him to be 100% sure.

It's not the first time this award is giving to an American soldier.
Here is Lt. Col. Gerhardt Weber, left, presents Lt. Col. Michael Childers the Silver Cross of Honor of the German Armed Forces.

Would love to see these full-size, but due to the spyware/viruses inherent in this image hosting site, I cannot.
Be warned, those of you without recently updated virus checking software . . . .
Could you post then to the site normally???
Viruses at imageshack? what are talking about? (what anti-virus program do you use?), anyway the images are too big to post in the site, if you PM me your email I could send them to you.

A nice shot
reference: http://www.yairmalachi.org/MedalsOfIsrael/VeteransMedals.htm
of a now-Israeli veteran wearing his Israeli (and other) medals). Nice.
And here Israeli veterans of the British army Jewish Brigade, you could see by there ribbon bar that they took part in many of Israel wars.

The front:
In blue under the Israeli coat of arms "The State of Israel Security office
This certificate show
that Levi Itchak

Hi Ingsoc:
I got this Yom Kippur ribbon off ebay. May I beg a favour and ask you to translate it?
Do you know how many were awarded? The booklets' front has 0378544 on it.
Thanks!
"Israel Aircraft Industries
To Levi Itzchak
You have been awarded
The ribbon of the Yom Kippur war
for your contribution to the war efford"
Can't see clearly who signed it, perhaps you could make a better scan?
It's also look like it's was an award to civilian worker and not army personal, this ribbon was giving to anyone who took part in the war so it's very common award (I would estimate more than 400,000 ribbons were awarded).

Yes, it's the Luftwaffe pilot badge with diamonds.

Not entirely sure about it but I think the shape of the oak leaves on the RK mean it's was made early after the war.

I'm trying to compose a list of all the decoration Michael Wittmann receive and the exact dates that there were awarded, here what I have so far:
13/03/38 Awarded Austria reunification medal
01/10/38 Awarded Sudetenland medal
12/07/41 Awarded Iron Cross 2nd Class
20/08/41 Awarded Wound Badge in Black
08/09/41 Awarded Iron Cross First Class
21/11/41 Awarded Tank Assault Badge in Silver
14/01/44 Awarded the Knight's Cross
30/01/44 Awarded the Oakleaves
22/06/44 Awarded the Swords
He also receive the Royal Bulgarian Soldiers Cross of the Order of Bravery 2nd Class and the ost-front medal in Aug. 1942, however I don't know the exact date.
Also sine he join the SS at 01/04/37 he was qualified to the SS long service medal for 4 years at 01/04/41, however I don't know if this medal was awarded automaticly at the exact date or was it delay for some reasons (like being in combat situations, approval by commander, etc.).
I also wasn't able to find if he was awarded the Prague bar to the Sudetenland medal, as the LSSAH also took part in the annexation of Czechoslovakia (he receive the Sudetenland medal when he, as part of the LSSAH enter the Sudetenland).
Any addition information and correction you could provide would be welcome.

All I know is that it's a Bundeswehr badge from the design of the eagle.

What's that under his chin? Seems more than an RK and PLM
b
His other neck decoration (except the RK & PLM) is the Italian order of the house of Savoy.

Here a great pic of Rommel wearing his ribbon bar.

How did J?hn win his HSU? I did not know that an East German was honored with this title.
He was the first German cosmonaut and like all cosmonauts after he return from space he was awarded the HSU, that is also the reason he receive the Hero of the DDR award.

Heres a three issues of the Jewish Brigade magazine that was issued after the war in occupied Europe, the brigade was mostly consisted from Jewish volunteers from British mandate Israel land/Palestine, those three issues use to belong to my grandfather who was a member of the brigade, the magazine name was "Bama'avak" ("In the Strugle").
Here the magazine only English page, the rest was in Hebrew

I agree with Rick Research, also someone who stay in the German army after WW1 would surely also have won 1914 EK1 as only the best soldiers were allowed to stay after WW1.
