    1. Unlike American medals, Middle Eastern orders and breast stars are'nt of a uniform size, I've managed to find medal sleeves (which is great for military etc medals) & albums to fit these sleeves, but just curious how do you house your breast stars? I have several now and ever since I started they're all spread on a table at home! There's got to be a better way. I also thought of shadow boxes but given that I keep expanding my collection it's not really that ideal What do YOU do?
    2. Hi there, I'm so glad I found this online club and thanks in advance for all your help! I've only recently become very interested in Egyptian orders and medals, in particular the Order of the Nile in all 5 grades, ideally I'd like to have an example for each grade, I've found a few for sale (feel free to point me in the direction of reputable dealers!) but the challenge that I'm facing is that I find it very hard to know for sure just by the vendors pictures whether - for example - what I'm looking at is a grand cordon breast badge or grand officer's breast badge, and whether it's pre-1926 or post 1926 etc. Most of the dealers also seem a bit uncertain and I don't want to end up with any duplicates so prefer not to risk it, I realize that the different breast badges are biggest for grand cordon then get smaller, but that's only useful once I have something to compare it to .. Ideally what I'm looking for is either a way to tell just by picture what exactly am I looking at, or if I can get the sizes + pictures of every cross, medal and badge that belong to the Order of the Nile. I've noted that there are many great experts on this subject such as Owain and Ed Haynes and would eagerly look forward to hear from you.
