Hello Everyone, I am new to this fourm and the members here are very helpful. I was in lebanon for a little bit, visiting a friend and he found a small grouping of patches for me. Out of all of the insignia, this piece remains the biggest mystery. I was told in the Arab Fourm that this patch most likely belong to one of the french peace keeping paratrooper regiments in lebanon. Does anyone know what regiment or group that this patch belonged to? and can anyone put a date on it?

Hello Everyone, Thanks so far for replying. I have been doing som research and still nothing on any of the insignia. I am happy to learn that the black with the ceder tree is most likely french but what about the other two? Also do any of you know of a time period for these insignias?

Hello everyone, once again. This time I need a little more help once again. I just got back from lebanon and I was visiting a good friend who was able to find me. A few piece of militaria. He told me that the first two insignias were Syrian but I forgot what he said the thrid one is. Would anyone happen to have anymore information on any of the items?

Hello everyone, I am new to the fourm. I was wondering if I could get some help with a few patches that I found in a box of soviet bloc items. I have no idea what they are. I am guessing that they are Egyptian or Syrian maybe? Also, could anyone tell me, what do they say?
