hi
I could do with some help with this one please. Is it simply confirmation of issue of an EK2 that
was requested in 1934?.What is the reference to 14.10.1883 about-is this just his date of birth? Came with a KM marked cross and a waxy type paper packet that i have never seen before. any thoughts?

Hi
I would appreciate your help here please.Firstly, any ideas as
to the maker of the EK1 and secondly, I would appreciate your views
on the RW packet. I have a couple of these blue packets maked KO
but this is the first time I have seen an RW marked packet. The cross is also
marked RW although I had this before the packet so they did not come
together
thanks

Just received this cross . I have compared it to the cross recently posted in theis thread:
http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21284
and it looks ok to me although the MM is in a different place. Shame about the paint work, looks like someone has either tried to touch it up or clean it?Is there anything that can be done or is it best left as is?
Would appreciate opinions

Hi Andy,
Have you examined the edges of this one very carefully? I don't have a problem with the core or the frames or the hardware, but I find it unusual that a TR replacement (private purchase) example would be marked with a Prasidialkanzlei (TR award piece) number. Maybe it's only a production error, but unusual combinations should be looked at carefully.
Regards
Mike

Many thanks indeed that is exactly what I was looking for. These are the last couple of pages from the book. They look like they have been cut down in size. Does this tell us anything else after 1916?
Once again, many thanks
