Hello Chris,
gratulations for these papers. Very nice documents of the 2. Jägerbataillons leader.
It is a pity, that these documents were separated, but that's ebay business.
I have missed the papers for the EK1 and the service cross2.
I have added together all the results and it came together a sum of just under 2200 Euro.
The highlights were the papers of the third class swords and the third class crown/swords.Here a picture of Oberstleutnant Lettenmayer.

Hello Andreas,
the Ludwigsmedal was missing as I got it from private, they made some teeth from it.
The recipient was Professor Bruno Hoyer
Now you have to decorate the bar with golden teeth :-)
What kind of scientist was Professor Bruno Hoyer?
I only found this name at wikipedia for a musician in the bavarian Staatsoper (Hornist)
Regards Andreas

Hello Andreas,
thats a great bar. The ribbon on the 5th ist very blurred.
Thanks for the resolution.
That bar would be for a superscript person.
Do you have the Luwigsmedal which belongs to this bar?The owner got the Ludwigskreuz for 40 years of duty, so I think he would be a scientist in a bavarian
Research Institute or similar.0 -
Hello Signalcorps,
a very nice bar. Please turn the Luitpoldmedal to the frontside.
Which yearfigures shows the bandeau under the crown?
I think this bar will be a civillians-decoration. The Luitpold shows the red ribbon for civillians. The Michaelmedal
was given to officials and civillians.
Propably a bar of an musician or artist for example.Andreas bar is very, very nice.
The second medal was given for the participants of the golden wedding of the bavarian King Ludwig III in 1918.
The 5th medal, I can not really determine.
For me it looks like the ribbon for a bavarian Landwehr- servicemedal.
The beautifullest medal is the silver Luitpoldmedal with crown, I like it very much.0 -

Hello Chris,
remember the post of the user bavaria on site 1. He wrote Scheid signes only for two weeks.
Very nice thread, and a very nice paper, what you got.0 -
Hello,
I think the 35mm ribbon is from the first awarding. In the 30th, there would be manufactured different kinds of bars, so you need
different sizes of ribbons. look here the bars of my relative. Upper was made of the original ribbons. The medal is a post-war production. The original is lost. Most time he wear the TM seperate from the bar.
The small bars are made from the 15mm ribbons and the lower ribbins are about 20 - 25 mm.

Hello,
last time I had a lot of problems with the new forum, I couldn't write anything.
This MVO with the Deschler-swords is a Hemmerle-cross.
The signs will be on the frontsite of the agraffe under the swords.
I've never seen MVO's with Deschler-swords. Deschler wasn't a manufactuere for the MVO, they produce only MVK second and third class. Can you show a picture of the whole backside of theses MVO?I want see if it is a gold or a silver gilt medaillon.
What kind of ribbon has the MVO, would you show us the complete bar?Cheers Andreas

Offizier-Stellvertreter Georg Eydel from k.b. Res. Infanterie Regiment Nr. 4 with the gold MMM, MVK2XK and EK2.
Can someone find out when he got the gMMM?
Regards
Alex
Hello,
there is only one date named in "Bayerns Goldenes Ehrenbuch"
On Ancestry database are some listings of him, but no date about the awarding of the TM. The golden TM is listed without date.
