#1 dates the photo to at least 1911, #3 to 1913. It could be either the 2nd or 3rd class.
Notice: he apparently did not want to buy battle clasps for his 1870/71 medal, although he had about 20 years to think about it!

this is my first posting at this forum. Sorry about my english, but I will try my best.
On ancestry database are a lot of informations about Hans Böhning. He had 18 victories and a lot of decorations. Eisernes Kreuz first class and second class. Ritterkreuz des Hausordens von Hohenzollern, bavarian Militärverdienstorden 4. class with swords and the 4th class with crown & swords. Woundbadge silver, Flugzeugführerabzeichen (pilotbadge).Usually got the pilot for the first victory the Fliegerpokal , but on the ancestry file for Böhning is no proof for it.
