Wow, come on lotto win! 1 in a bigilion chances I win the jackpot tonight hehehe
If it happens, you can bet I'll be attending (will they let the VC leave the country and go to Canada? lol Or take your money and be like "it can't leave the UK, never!! ) Like they did with Jane Austin's ring that Kelley Clarkson purchased?

From the rear, the document looks like that organization that made their own version of medals (something or something to fund their political party ) and then awarded them on vets etc, they have their own OPW 1 and 2 and Lenin made in like Czechoslovakia or something.

#2 means very little, it's just number of documents issued within certain year. Note the date is January 5th, #2 means the document was given early in the year.
That number has no effect on the price!
Regardless, it is cool to have the #2 of whatever day of the month issue, it probably adds 1% value for me, but its cool (again not 1.7k cool lol)

I think value is based on a lot of other documents that are in the same range. There are a lot of 1st Class Takovo's out there. Although the #2 makes it a bit more special and to Turkish recipient I don't think that past that amount (a couple % more than reg. Takovo 1st class) would precipitate such a high valuation
I think the only person that might pay this amount would be someone who has this Turkish Recipient's group and is missing this to complete it. Then again, I would assume in such a case that they would bargain for a better price.

I think its more something like a Child playing around with red fingernail polish (for the "enameled" Bravery Medal)
That is usually what happens when Orders and Medals aren't kept in lock and key :D

glad to hear it is progressing along :)

Whatever it is, even if it is fully "legit"
It looks like a bit of repair going on it.
I don't like the places where it is chipped in. looks odd really. and price is way over what we would pay for anything GAS anyway of that period lol
The red on the eagles is a bit odd too like someone adding it a bit later etc. Also the attachment suspension is different from Obi's example.

The two large Star ones are cap badges if it looks like gilt it is officer grade if they are silver usually reg. and so are the smaller stars.
The rest I have no idea but most look Yugoslavian (the Torch, small pilot style wing and the two winged badge, no idea )
That is the best I can help on badges sorry :D

" I still do not know real or fake, perhaps it ia a new museum copy ,because the seller 's image is too small "
It looks legitimate, but the only problem with it is, why just buy the breast star since its a 2nd class.

Is this the replica that was being offered on ebay just a new listing or an actual other listing?

It'd just be nice if the quality was there again, and gold for the gold orders :D come on gold! lol
I'd even be ok with the 14k or dare I say "lower" grades of gold

Chris,
It was an exceptional gift, from an old professor and vietnam era special forces veteran. I gently disassembled it today and cleaned it, then reassembled it. Fully restored it may fetch US $750.00, but it will become an hierloom for my son.
Doc.
The only way to go passing down to owns children excellent news can you take some photos of the final restoration please ?
So we can go Ohhhh Shiny once some new life is brought into the helmet :)

maybe you are right! I know many fake order of German orde made in china.thank you for your answer。
You are right as well my friend Balkan producers and a lot of other nations make fakes too It is just impossible when you see or experience the mass amount of fakes from China to think otherwise as well or to count China out they have huge manufacturing devices lol :)

I think this order maybe not made in china,In china most people collect german and cccp orders.I was not see many YU-ORDER in chinese market。It is not popular in china.
They have certain streets in China where they make specific fake items, you can pick sometimes out of catalogue or bring your own photos for a custom order. There is a huge collecting community in China for Yugoslavian Orders and medals (I have 4 Chinese friends that collect Yugo like crazy down there )
I don't doubt that they have at the very least a couple hundred guys that manufacture fakes out there , I'd bet on there being a whole street that makes fake orders and medals, like there is for watches/clothes etc

I always think there are few fake of yugoslavia's order. It seems that my thoughts are wrong.thanks
The Chinese market really took up steam in faking our orders and medals in the 1990s after the initial wave of items from the Balkans dwindled.
I believe that at the very least, each of our higher orders has a substantial fake somewhere :(

They get too heavy on the chest maybe? Or he is just humble I think, maybe doesn't want to bring everything and only chooses certain ones for special occasions.
