Just picked this up this morning, must say its just the job......excellent little book that's crying to be updated, one of the comments is "Most awards were manufactured only once" and "variations unknown" if true puts Robin's price in perspective.

I would be grateful for any details of the Bermont Avalov Verdienstkreuz mit Totenkopf or any of the myriad awards to the West Russian Volunteer Army /Iron Division circa 1919, German ebay seem to have them but I am guessing they are all fakes, thanks, Paul

Guys this group is not nor will it be for sale, if it were and I stress if it were, I would choose who I sold it to not how much I was offered, back to the group Robin, guys, I am not aware of documents for the Iron Division is there such animals also apart from the one photo Ulsterman mentioned is there any others?

For me its all about the history, just read chapter 10 "The Baltic Campaign" of Nigel Jones book "Hitlers Heralds" and held the medals.......there is no price on this piece

Robin, thanks for your kind words.....Having just retired from HMPS I have time on my hands to hunt these pieces , it originally came from Bosley's when I missed out last year, I got it from Regimentals for ?450 GBP on Sunday........as far as I can find out its been the only complete (Iron division) group offered (apart from the ebay group) for some time, interesting enough Regimentals thought no one would buy it.....now all I need is a photo of him..... PS What was the value when it was sold at Wallis
