    2. Yes, had to go through the hoops to get permission to take the photo, the building is the PLO HQ, which is also an old Brtish Prison, the other is the mountains above Jericho.

    11. The recipient as a Pelham Mervyn Tombs, a driver with the Red Cross. The 1901 Census, shows him as aged 21. A secretary with a shipowning company, from Gloucestershire, BRCS &ST JJ on 1914 star trio, District Supt on Coronation, Asst Com on service order, Pelham Mervyn Gainsford Tombs was appointed a Knight of Grace in the London Gazette dtd 23rd June 1914. Can anyone identify the Foriegn awards, thanks
