Hello, I received these pictures after an inquiry about a wakizashi. I know very little, but I was basically just wondering if anyone can give an approximate age estimate. I realize that this is a long shot because of the below average picture, but I thought I would ask anyway. The tang is unmarked. Thanks in advance for any information!

Thanks! I think that the shoulder boards are a later pattern as well so this was probably reissued. That fits with the piping information too. I could not find any Type 45s for sale, are they rare or uncommon?

Hello, I recently acquired this uniform, thinking it was a M1938 pattern, but I believe now that it is a Type 45. It is in really great shape. Can anyone identify this, and read the text of the stamp? Thanks.

Thanks! Do you think this is complete, or part of something else like a sextant? Also, is it military or civilian? Its probably obvious that I have no experience with these. -
Hello, I would really appreciate any help you can give me regarding this item, a Tamaya and Co. Box and telescope. First, is it even WWII? All I have been able to find is Tamaya sextants. Is there any approximate value on this? Since I have not found anything comparable I don't have a value. Thanks in advance!

Actually just spotted this in the fakes thread (http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/52001-fakes-quality-slowly-and-not-expertly-is-on-the-raise/page-2). I thought it was off, but this confirms it. Great site here. -
Hello, I had a quick question regarding this medal. I believe I have found an Order of the Golden kite, however, there appear to be some differences from others I have seen, namely the color scheme/design of the flags in the center. Also, others I have seen have no inscription on the reverse. Are you familiar with this medal? Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
