Guys,
I got quite excited when a pal told me a friend at work had an above described badge and it was in the family etc, etc, etc.
He is a good lad so I will let him down gentley! The box is laughable and even the staple is a picture as opposed to metal. I don't know why they have cut the grass so to speak but it is quite obvious in the hand.
Oh well!

John,
I will continue to rake through the recently departed folks belongings in the hope of saving some history. Family seem less interested in these sort of things these days. I wonder what the future holds, will people be able to buy your internet logs when you pass?

The whole lot are impresive. I remain envious of your talent and a little afraid. I am sure there are equally talented criminals out there somewhere. I am glad you are a good guy!

Do the catolouges show any good detail of the copies, it would be good to see for reference if they do?

Glad its of interest. The reverse of the Press shot of the parade states General Müller? Looks like he served WW2 judging by the ribbon bar.

Could it be RAD looking at the lack of waffenfarbe on the boards?

No, it is mostly WW2 Feldpost to IR277.

I don't know what that is, I don't really collect the first war stuff, I only take it if it looks interesting, is cheap or is part of a job lot. This was cheap and thrown in on a deal. Glad it is of interest. The only thing I noted was he got EK2 didn't see anything else?

Thankyou very much for the links, very interesting! Sorry for the late reply but I have been night shift for the last 3 days so I have been sorting and posting rather than replying.
Thanks again
