Hi Rogi, Thanks for that! I had a search around the web using that info and feel confident it's Yugoslavian. Is it possible that, based on your observations, it would represent an interim period - post kingdom but pre-communism?? Gentlemen, I'm having a hell of a time putting an ID on this buckle. Assume European, but one never knows. Very high quality piece, chamferred tongue, appears to be bronze gilt. Any thoughts? Thank you! Mark ~
