    1. Hello Paul, In the last Federal Election back in January up here in Canada, the Liberal Party wanted to Ban Handguns all together, even though it was already illegal to own one with out a licence. This means all collectors would have had to turn them in for a fraction of the cost in a buy back program. Luckily, that party diod not win so we keep the guns. Here is a pic of my Webley Mk 6. It is in not the greatest shape, but for $300 I was not passing something up that was matching and made in 1918. Thanks, Cam
    2. Hello, I picked up this Sawback Bayonet a while back and was just wondering when and where it was made. I am more use to the WW2 German Bayonets which clearly gives the Date. The blueing on the Scabbard is not good at all and looks like it sat in a basement or a garage for 70 years. However the blade is almost mint. The Manufacturer is Durkopp Werke A.G. and there is a B with a crown on it on the top of the blade. So if someone could help me out that would be great. Thanks, Cam Here are the Pictures:
    3. Here is an Idea for Flags: What we do at my Museum is something similar to what has already been described. We take a piec of about 1 inch thich wood dowel (untreated) and wrap it in several layers of non-acidic paper. Then we tie it off with natual cotton string. Now we carefully wrap the Flag around the dowel and paper ensuring that there are no creases and the cloth is equally placed all the way around. Also we don't wrap them to tight to ensure that air can ciculateThen we cover the flag and dowel in more layers of non-acidic paper and tie it off agin with cotton string. Every couple of years we check them to make sure everything is okay and to change the paper or position of the flag. I hope this has been useful, Cam
    4. Hello Guys, Joel and Paul-Thanks for the Kind Words. Paul R- Yes we are allowed to have live guns up here in Canada. There is alot of Paper work to go through to get your permits but it is worth it in the end. Thanks alot again, Cam
    5. Hello, Just to add a note for the Revolver that the man on the left is issued with, it appears to be the Colt New Service Revolver in .455. The Holster is correct and has not been modified. Holster issued to Enlisted Memebrs did not have a top on them. Officers Holsters did. This soldier was probably a Machine Gunner. Can not tell becuase you can not see the cuffs. They were commonly issued pistols for defence. It is nice to see the man on the left with the Luger and Holster. I wonder if it still resides somewhere in Canada? Cam
    6. Hello, I am new here and I just thought that I would start off by showing some of my hand guns that I have collected over the years. All of the German Pistols seen with holster are the orignal ones for the pistols. Starting left to Right, top to bottom: - P38 BYF 44 - Radom - 1937 S/42 Luger - 1934 'RAF' Marked Enfield No 2 Mk 1 - P38 CYQ - Occupation Browining High Power Waa/140 with Late War Plastic Grips - 1915 Styer Model 1912 - Occupation Browning 1922 Waa/140 I also just got a Webley Mk 6 dated 1918 which I still need to clean up and photograph. There are still quite a few that I am looking for but its pretty hard to find nice quality pistols and revolvers up here in Canada. I hope you all enjoy the pictrue. Cam
    7. Hello, Did he pick these up in the War? Also are there any Capture papers that go along with them? Nice pistols. I have a 1937 S/42 Luger. However it is in no where near the condition of yours. Cam
