Paul probably mean that russian federation decorations are many, and is true but i collect soviet medals orders and badges i have just few russian federation medals

I prefer LMD, better quality, but as a collector i must have the MMD version with doc
I heard about the silver version but i never saw, the info that i have is that is made in Tombak and cover with silver, like silver plated..

Made by Leningrad Mint (ЛМД mark on ring)
Now you need to find piece that was made by Moscow Mint.
It will have mark ММД at the bottom of reverse.
Another stable characteristic of Moscow vs. Leningrad is packaging.
Leningrad pieces packed in plastic while Moscow pieces in white cardboard cases.

Good evening gentlemen I would like to share with you some photos taken by me a few days ago in the French War Cemetery in Venafro .Leaving the city of Isernia Venafro direction , over a large flat area (70,000 m² ) is located on the French war cemetery in which are buried about 6000( but many have been exhumed ) soldiers, of whom about two-thirds of Moroccan Algerian and Tunisia , as well as some African countries ( Senegal ? ) , largely fallen during the battle of Cassino ( November 1943 - May 1944 or in circumventing ) . For them it is a monument that refers explicitly to the North African minarets , decorated with blue ceramic tiles , which stand out against the white-washed walls , and some inscriptions . Inside there are several tombs , one of which is Muslim Unknown Soldier , dedicated to the three soldiers with name, one Tunisian , one Algerian , one Moroccan . All the tombs are located on the North - East South- West, with the gravestones facing north-east , with the exception of some tombs , located behind the minaret of Jewish soldiers ( recognizable by the six-pointed star on the tombstone ) and animists ( on the tombstone have an "agnostic" stylized sun ) . This provision of the graves suggests the possibility that the fallen Muslims , when they are placed on the right side, have their faces turned to Mecca. On each tablet contains the name (if known) and the words (in French) " died for France " .
