Hi all,
I'm trying to trace some history relating to some WW2 Royal Navy kit i have in my possession. I know nothing about Royal Naval history so hoping somebody on here does.
What i know so far is that Ordinary Seaman Raymond Keith Morris served with the Royal Navy on HMS Wrangler circa 1938.
I did an internet search and found an Able Seaman Raymond Keith Morris was lost in action on 19th November 1941 whilst serving with the Royal Austrilian Navy on the "Sydney".
Could this be the same person? What is the likelyhood of a Naval Seaman being posted to the Australian Navy?
