"Domestic Trade"- as in internal economy or Maid service? How does that translate exactly?

Ah- I thought I saw only one, but the oak leaves i thought went to Majors and above?

no-it's because they served in French units.

((Yes indeedy, Thankee! Needed a straight on of the Zoll decice!)))

nice Saxon there- but do my eyes deceive me in #3/4? Is that a mere Oberlt. with a leaf device upon his OZL?

and an old friend, "Otto" the postman, taken in France, 1915:
((( Yes! "Patches"
Hold off on all with medals hanging from them... it has been suggested that a MEDAL BARS IN WEAR scetion is warranted on its own-- but that would be THREE projhects off into the future.)))

Wow! That is a great piece!
Congratulations. there are flag collectors out there who would kill for those.
Did you get them directly from Hartmann?

I'm with Gordon-I would LOVE to get a copy of that "Blatt".

#3 is primarily an enlisted mans' medal-and a man who got an REO3 would have spent time as an officer dL-Germany was a more status conscious society in them days. An REO with a bow implies a university degree and more senior job status-hence my caution.

Notable because of the brunswick horse device-and taken before the issuance of the "new" (1937?) LS medals that replaced the old imperial ones. Also, the stare reminds me of someone in Ware, Mass.
((Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
}}}}

another big Luftwaffe bar:
{{{{ Sweet Mather MacRea!!! THIS may be the WEIRDEST of all!!!!
