Hi Jacky, Thank you. The Danzig Cross or Danziger Kreuz (also Kreuz von Danzig) was a political award by the local NSDAP in Danzig. It was awarded for substantial support and work for the NSDAP in Danzig. However, not only politicians did receive the Danzig Cross but many military personnel, for example the officers of the SS-Heimwehr Danzig received it. Best, Rene

Hi all, I thought I show you my latest purchase. A Danziger Kreuz 1st class without needle but with makers mark, a Danziger Kreuz 2nd class without makers mark and a miniature. All found together in the soil below a spot where there must have been some fire at some stage. Although the Danziger Kreuz 1st class shows some warping due to the heat the enamel is in very good condition. Best, Danziger [attachmentid=61474]
