Hello all,
i have this interesting Portrait since many years in my collection - along with other photos of this man.
You see here just a cut-out - its a little tricky to make a good photo pf a photo
The Cap Badge looks like "4. Armee"
Anyone have an idea of the unit and rank of this man?
Greetings Stefan

Hello all,
Today i got this medal. I buyed a couple of ribbons and found the medal on the bottom of the box.
Payed for all 45€ and wonder how much the medal is worth to.
The medal is for my dad as birthday present.
So i hope everything is ok with it. Never Seen before a 1864 medal.
The rim has the typical inscription " aus erobertem geschuetz"
Greetings
Stefan

Today i got this nice little bar from a neighbor. I got a lot HJ stuff from her husband - since he passes away last year she still looking for the other objects. She told me that this bar is probably from her father - he was a WW1 vet and were in the Wehrmacht (probably Landsturm) in 1943.
Greetings

Hello all,
i dont know if i already showed this neat little bar. Its my all time favorite - because it is very very unusal.
The small medal bar belongs to my old neighbors mother - but to bad all informations are lost to time - she died and she didnt told me much about her or the medals.
Hope you like it as i do
Greetings
Stefan

Hello all,
im looking for an Information about the 1918 Woundbadge. Was it awarted retroactive? My great grandfather was wounded twice - first in 1915 and second in 1916. His second wound he was shot in the leg and lost it Later in Hospital because of gangrene. Were he retroactive awarted an wound badge? If so which grade? silver because he lost a leg?
