Nice one with a killer label

When I lived in Germany I befriended two HG vets and they say they never saw these awards. Both had earned the Luftwaffe close combat clasp but were awarded the Heer/SS version.

Can you post a better pic of the eagle?

Here's mine, still attached to a Fliegerbluse

Nice boards. The example on the right is for the M44 jacket, as evident by the two vertical stitch lines on the obverse and artificial silk strip on the reverse.

The M43 is postwar with original insignia applied, and I do not care for the white top visor at all.

It should say GH Osang. I cannot render a concrete opinion based on these two very blurry pics but so far there are no red flags. Better pics are critical.

Gents,
I have not handled a tunic of this material before so I cannot comment on its originality. However, I think the boards are bad and that unit stamp is very unconvincing. Can you take a pic of the reverse of the breast eagle? This is actually a shirt eagle but admittedly, some tunics were issued with them.

Looks like a late war original zinc example to me

Original cuff title; how long it's been sewn to that sleeve is the question

Here's a pic of an IL-2 crew late in the war

Looks nice, but the photo is washed out a bit

I don't want to take it off the torso form but it is LBA marked as well as stamped Peek & Cloppenburg Rotterdam. The gulls on the collar tabs have been added after the tabs were sewn down. Oh yes, the visor is possibly more rare than the Fliegerbluse but then again an unmonkeyed-with Fliegerbluse like this one is extremely difficult to find. The badge I have affixed to it is a para badge.

Here's an Unteroffizier Pionier Fliegerbluse and visor cap

Bob,
Thanks a lot. These visors are big money nowadays which makes getting stung all the more worse! I hope its return is problem-free for you--

Sorry Bob but I don't like anything about this visor. Shape, materials, lining, all repro I believe.

Modern case, ring is one of many that were made postwar in Spain with all kinds of Legion Condor markings
