    1. The Suojeluskunta (Civil Guard) Merit corss was established in silver and iron grade (silver is scarce, ca. 500 only awarded). Two last shields are shooting awards of local SK detachments. This one in the pocket button hole is possibly  Estonian Kaitselit (Defence League) member badge.

Sorry to say like that, but it is not a bar from Mecklenburg. It's Oldenburg!

Here is a long service cross mounted insteate of a missing Campaign medal from Oldenburg 1866!

      regards Seeheld

Are you sure? The ribbon of Oldenburg medal 1866 is rather red in the middle, and the internal stripes in dark blue...

      Hello tompress,

from where do you have this nice document posted in ID:12?

      Cheers

      Chris

This was from an auction catalog. Indeed not perfect quality :) But as you can see also on the document shown dy Dansson, all forms for the German soldiers (and in German laguage) have the same date 3. July 1919.

A document for Finnish citiziens looks different (the picture is slightly cut at the top an bottom due to scanners size)

      regards
      Tomasz
