Are both crosses in your collection ?

I don't say it is a fake, it could be a late war Steinhauer, but the center circle, even worn and polished seems not to be of the same metal construction as the cross.

Stan: The eagles have the same design as our ones, except the eagles swastika which is not cut out; but the eagles head is the same. I have another one the same in my files, which presents the same details at the top of the wing, the color become grey when soldered. jacques

thanks for th pictures I never get such one in hand , but they are reputed original. Personnally, I prefer the other one design which seems more detailled. Jacques

Hi, I didn't find pictures with flowers taken in Spain. This picture was taken in Germany. It could be a studio photo. I found another picture which seem to be taken in a quite same sunny place too.

Yes, it could be possible. Look at the right part of the picture, there is a boot part of someone walking on. Which could help us is the wear of te spanish cross (nt visible there) that could indicate a picture taken in Germany. Overwise this picture could have been taken in Spain, during the last days, between the Madrid Parade and the departure from Vigo harbour. I must check if the LC members were decorated with flowers during the parades in Spain.

Another one. Both are wearing large berets which look like to the early Panzer beret but without the inside protection. Note the SS style skull which is absolutly odd on such a headgear.

Hi, On my badge, the Hinge ist not re-soldered and looks untouched, thus the hook. Indeed, these constructions look very fragile. It could be possible, as these badges were worn permanently, the attach system broken off, and thus the badge was sewn to the uniform by the owner. It could explain that pictures shown it sewn onto the uniform, and also that variation/repairs exist. Here are pictures of my badge. the pin could be not original but the hinge and hook are originally soldered.

on the 2 right medals, the MM is stamped raised on the obverse sun rays, instead that on the left one it is written with raised letters "Industrias Ega?a" on the reverse.

Here are three spanish "Medalla de la campa?a" manufactured by the Ega?a firm. All 3 are showing differents kind of maker's mark. I wonder if these 3 dies are WW2 period .
