I would say 1933-1936 era due to the crown design, but in another way the reverse shows the typical anthem of Franco eagle, shild and phalange. hope our Spanish friends will help us there. jacques
Hi, I need information on the gold cross red case. I know that few members here own such case and I hope they will take the time to check and provide these info. detailed pictures should be helpful too. High: Length: Width: Weigth: thanks jacques
Hi Scott, it is a very nice combination. If you can take close up of the MM it should be great. I know the list you are talking about, and indeed it is not complete. I guess around 100 german soldiers were awarded this coveted medal. you absolutly don't know who was the owner ? jacques
German Legion Condor is more charismatic than the spanish republicans , I know of what I'm saying, i've been collecting german items for 30 years. Don't forget that Franco government remained until his death. I don't think that the former republican fighters were wellcome during his regency. I guess few badges were awarded to them, try to find a threat among these files. regards jacques
I have interest in their cause, my granfather fought within a Republican unit and cross the border later in the war while the whole family was in a so-called refugies camp. I was too young when he died to know more about its combats and awards. don't think he got medals, stay in live was the most coveted award ! jacques
Hi Francisco, I don't know the name yet but I remember to have seen this picture in a german forum. It seen that several prints of this pics exist, I own one myself won on Ebay one week ago. I look to find the name jacques
Hi, I can't explain. I have another document from the same group for the "Medalla de la campana" which is stamped. I observed that not all the documents are stamped. jacques
