    1. Greetings Pat and All, You have shown us all a very nice Afrikakorps Cap eagle used by the Heer(Army). These BeVo weave insignia were woven in a rectangular patch and the excess was cut and folded behind when it was sewn on. That is a very nice piece. Your other eagle is a very nice BeVo weave costal artillery eagle. It is more of an earlier style due to the color background. They were used throughout the war. Here are a couple of DAK eagles I just picked up. Fred Green
    2. Well Doc, If you have Heer insignia maybe we can do something to stop that drooling! Fred
    3. Greetings, This is the last of my Luft stuff. Extras of patches and some collar tabs and boards. Fred Green
    4. Hey Doc and J Temple-West, Thank you for the nice comments but I am a Heer insignia collector! I have picked most of this stuff up with Heer insignia or it was just to cheap to turn down. I would love to turn it all into Heer insignia!!! My primary addiction at the moment is Africa corps insignia. I have a couple threads on the Army forum. Again thank you for the great comments. Fred Green
    5. Greetings, I honestly don't actively collect Luftwaffe insignia but have accumulated this in collecting Heer insignia. If you would like to see something closer I can always scan it. Fred Green
    6. Greetings All, I am a WWII German Heer cloth insignia collector and have accumulated a nice selection of Luft insignia to include specialty patches, chevrons, eagles and roundles. I hope you enjoy the following pieces. Fred Green
    7. Pat and Paul, Thank you for the warm welcome!! I am severely anal-retentive about Heer insignia! I love all of the variations and manufacturing styles. I don't have a huge collection but what I have I am always willing to show and share.I have posted my DAK insignia in two parts already. I have added a little since then but not much. I have picked up some DAK eagles and Roundles which I will post soon. If you have anything specific you would like to see please ask. I have some basic insignia, but any not Fahnentraeger sleeve patches or Ski-jaeger insignia. I do have a decent selection of panzer eagles that I just picked up though. Again, thank you for the warm welcome and hopefully I can become an asset to this forum. Thanks again!! Fred Green
    8. Greetings Chris and All, The tropical variations were made in cotton for the tunic and wool for the overcoat. I am short quite a few of the wool ones . I am always interested in seeing new one! If you have any please post them. Thanks alot. Fred Green
