Hey Guys
I started looking thru my collection since I got back from Iraq and decided to post some of my collection, I have TONS more in the basement but since my injuries I can't get to them, which is killing me!!!!
Rick if your reading this ,I know I STILL need a scanner (Epson of course )
I'm sure there's alot of these that look familiar to some members.
First up is a small sample of my ribbonbar collection, nothing spectacular but I like them ALL even down to the lonely Ostfront ribbon

Well this is'nt really militaria but it is political so I hope I'm not breaking any rules.
So heres the story:
We did a Raid on a Anti-coalition newspaper factory , it was abandonded so we began looking for the usual... weapons, propaganda etc.... I found a whole stack of hand drawn pictures that would eventually wind up in print in the newspaper so I "liberated" a couple ( and also the paper with the illustration) we burned everything in the factory so this is a one of a kind item....pretty cool I think.I brought back tons of Iraqi stuff but I look at as junk, which made me think how many G.I's in WW2 thought the same thing.
Moderators feel free to delete this if you think it violates the no-politics rule.

If its not fabricated then I would lay bets on it being a 'Don River Front' grouping. Still - WOW!
I'm with Paul, not sure about that medal and is it a "57er" or is it the same as a war time peice?
thanks guys!!!

Dad's home from the front. He's not wearing anything in this picture but the other shot's of him He's wearing the KVK in the buttonhole, and EK2(WW1),honourcross and Eastern front on his ribbon bar.

The pictures start getting ominous, notice the tinnies being worn, They're a little blurry in the actual photo so it's hard to tell what they are, it would be nice since then I could date the photo's.

Pickedd this up today and was pleasently surprised when I actually brought it home and looked thru the entire album,
There's alot of family shots but it gets very interesting.
theres aprox. 200 pictures all crystal cler ( my camera skills is my way of "watermarking" ) anyways it starts out with 2 brothers at a young age,one of them is cross eyed so it's very easy to identify him throughout the album.
I won't/can't post all of the good ones but I'll post a few. There's HJ skiing lessons, tinnies being worn, vehicles,HJ sports and marksman badges being worn and tons of other cool stuff.even a celebrity look alike!!!!!
I'll start off with the two brothers at easter( our cross eyed friend and his girly looking brother)
