its 21 mm from arm to arm, and massive! (but very thin)
(not thought about the pebbling and the medaillon - so its very strange, but the details are really good, and its, at least for me, no know copy)
hope you can help me, bringing light into the darkness!

can get this ribbonbar - should i get it?
- but i have a question first, why is there no long service award - centenial + china + dswa need a long service decoration? - and why a white/black ribbon + a mvo with swords on the same clasp? - and is the mvo from ww1 like the hamburg cross?
ok, more than one question but i hope you can help me on it. christian

very nice bar!
its a good question about putting swords on ribbonbars - but i would say, that this is a "fighter ribbon bar" so the hindenburg ribbon should have swords for representing the frontfighterscross.
but there are no swords - so i would imagine, that the lippe ribbon should have a swords device as well.
but anyway - its nice

the black and silver ribbon is probably from hohenzollern - carl anton commemorative medal or so?

if he was in turkish service while he got his medalbar made its the "official" way!
or perhaps they are golden and more impressive
the narrow winged badge is very nice - never seen one before!
so if we state this as turkish made, does someone have a picture of one in wear?

thats a real EK document!
do you know, if there are other docs of eks or other decorations around which describe what the recipient did for the award?

very interesting thread to follow.
but i think i have to throw a question in, even if i know, that it wouldn't solve any unanswered questions.
if those are stated as german made examples - how the juwelier knew how the badge have to look like?
and wouldn't be the price very high, to produce only a few of those badges?
did the german pilots get a certificate and how did they get awarded those badges?
hope someone can bring light in the darkness christian
