Thanks!
This is probably a good idea, with these post-Soviet countries, but the Middle East can also be a good lead! Thank you gentlemen ?

Hi ! I have an urgent question. Well, my colleague wants to sell me the Legion of Honor in gold. I don't know enough about the Order of the Legion of Honor, so I know if it is worth around 1,300 Euro. That's a lot of money, a friend is in need. Can this order be priced and pre-qualified based on the photos? it's probably the Third Republic .. I will be grateful

I would like to present you an interesting qualification badge from my collection. These are two badges connected, of course, in the era. The owner was given two and the engraver combined them to make them comfortable to wear. to illustrate the photo of the badges, in the event of awarding two to one soldier.

Hello, as far as I know, the rosette was added to the 4th class of the order only from 1937, i.e. in the Showa era. So this one was added probably later, since it is the fourth class from the Meji era?

Hi!
IMHO - Attach a strange epaulette, the button indicates the navy, but it is an infantry epaulette, except that during this period three stars were not placed in this formation. Two were placed. It is possible that it was borrowed from the Russian army, where three stars in a different position meant the senior lieutenant (such a distinguishing feature of the Russian army). Button probably folded, but from a different shoulder pad. The arrangement of the stars, although not the number and location, is typical of the 1918 Ukrainian army. But it could be a hybrid from another period, even World War II.

This is most likely a fake, but I must admit that I couldn't find out who was this formation (or military school) , or who wore such badges. I searched, but it exceeded me ? I was looking to compare this fake badge with the original. If someone can help, I will be grateful!
photos from the auction ?
