As this is my 100th post I want to take this time to thank the forum members for their help with the translations and also my education related to Soviet ODM's.
To Kristof and the other forum members who have asked me for assistance with their research documents I say thank you very much.
This is a unique opportunity to be able to have these research documents available. Each one representing one person's story as it relates to
their involvement in the Patriotic War.
I enjoy volunteering my time uncovering and compiling what is on the documents. Helping with the translations is my way of saying thanks to everyone .
I hope others have enjoyed what these posts bring as much as I do.
Regards
Rick

Citation translation
I. Brief description of personal feat or merits
Comrade N.I. Usatov has been on front in Patriotic War since February 3rd, 1943.
In combat with fascists on August 19, 1943 in the region of Staraya Russa as a member of 268th Independent Mortar Regiment, was heavily wounded and as a result of his wound amputation of left arm (here ?arm? is a medical term, describing a part of upper limb from shoulder to forearm, so his hand was amputated proximal to the elbow, somewhere at the level of biceps muscle), and shell-fragment blunt wound of the lower third of his right shin (shank).
Thanks to "Dr. Kuznetsov" for the details surrounding Usatov's wounds.
This citaion made me pause and think about this poor chap.

Nice coat!
Not knowing much about the cloth side of collecting, Is there any kind of stamped information inside that might tell you about the manufacturer.
When you do get the Shoulderboards please post their addition to your Greatcoat.
