Yes The bottom buckle is current military insignia..it is the same as on the desert hat used in Iraq and Afghanistan.I think the seller of the bottom belt put the buckle with an RSR era belt or maybe it was issued that way using old stores . Ian

Maybe a case of different facilities doing the enamel work? On the Patriotic Guards insignia is that a red felt backing? Ian

I must say I have not found or am fond of the authorizing signature on this document it is on a Heeresflakabzeichen document ,and like I said I cannot find a Generalleutnant Beck at least it appears to be Beck to me the only Beck I know that comes close was Generaloberst Beck but he wasnt around in 44 Thanks in adavance Ian
