Hi Paul,
This vet was still in active service 1939. Because two golden LS awards, probably up to Oberst level officer I guess (or what I had been learned here on GMIC). I can understand those mistakes when the person wasn't in service but in this case it is just against the rules.
Still nice and great bar to have what shows "Germans punctuality" wasn't in place all the time.
YES I understand, what I was impling was a saying here in CANADA that who will question a veteran as he has been there for us and can do no wrong

I don't think #1 is wrong at all as the bar is WW1 with TR additions IMO

Hi, I have never seen one made up so sloppy . It could be an ORs with cord to enhance to officer level but is does not look up to standard you normally find these

hI JUDGING FROM THE SOFT HIGH QUALITY BACKING THIS IS a manufactured cut out eagle never had any fold ins. Was made facing left as for any high quality breast or SS sleeve eagle.

YES everything is very scarce for this org but the hunt is fun and I think it has brought together some great members of the community where the history has been and is being slowly put together like no other area of the TR hobby. I still need a single right collar my biggest want these days.
