A little bit more information on Peter Coreth Frei-und Pannierherr zu Coredo.  In the photo he is wearing the uniform of a Fähnrich, and he also has the embroided collar badge of a machine gunner.

I concur with Simon Rex the photo is of Feldzeugmeister Oskar Guseck Edler von Glankirchen.

I wasn't sure where to post this request, but here goes.

I am hoping that someone may be able to help me locate some biographical information on Offiziersstellvertreter Hermann Reinhardt. 

Offiziersstellvertreter Hermann Reinhardt from the Marinekorps (Sturmabteilung) received his Preußische Goldene Militär-Verdienst-Kreuz decoration in April 1918 together with the future German General Bernhard Ramcke.

I'm hoping to find his place and date of birth. I believe he was born on 22 September 1887, but I can't find/confirm this information anywhere.

While searching the other night through the German Marine Verlustlisten 1914-1918 I found one Offiziersstellverteter Hugo Hermann Reinhard (sic! **) from the Marinekorps, but I'm not sure if this is "my man".  Confirmation on this would also be greatly appreciated.

After reviewing the documents again I think your response is spot on.

I think you will find that 'alezredes' is actually Oberstleutnant (Lieutenant Colonel). ezredes is Oberst/Colonel.

Her last served in the 23 Honvéd Infantry Regiment.

Medal No1. Order of the Iron Crown 3rd Class with 'kreigs' decoration and swords

Medal No 2. Bronze Signum Laudis

Medal  No. 3 Large Silver Bravery

Medal No. 4 Small silver Bravery

Medals No 5 through 10  are post 1918 medals.

I have an Ignácz Stancer promoted to Oberst (in the k.u. Honvéd) on 1 Nov 1917. If this is your Stancer then he was awarded the following:

FJO-OK(KDS), EKO-R3(KDS), MVK3 (KDS), BMVM, KTK, MJM98, MJK08,  MK13.

I have no idea,  but your suggestion has very real merit.

Similar, but different.  The regular Heer/Landwehr/Honvéd qualification badges were about 3.4 to 3.5 cm in size, and bronze in colour.

That makes then about 1-5cm smaller than the two I posted earlier.

I have no idea where they were worn, but I suspect maybe on a breast pocket.  They are of a large size so I guess that would rule out either on a cross strap or a hat .

It certainly looks like he is wearing teo Jubilee crosses. I have not seen that before.

Hopefully some one will be able to shed some light on this mystery.

Looking at the photo I think he has been awarded the either a silver and gold Verdienstkreuz or two silver/gold Verdienstkreuz.  It also appears as if the second Verdientskreuz may have a crown.  Last medal is definitely a 1908 Jubileekreuz.

My guess is he was a reservist who was recalled to serve during the war and therefore he has  no long service medal, 1913 mobilisation cross or other indications of 'long' service.

Hmm! Feel like a goose right now. No idea how I missed him (page 30). I was more focused on the index, but just couldn't pick him out. I will now revisit the ehren rangliste.

I am looking for any career details on GM Freiherr von Buddenbrock.

GM von Buddebrock  is listed in the 1914 Rangliste(page 50) as being in the 1 Garde Division as the Komm. I Garde Feldartillerie Brigade , but he is not listed (that I could see) in  the 1918 Ehrenliste.

Any career details most gratefully received.

From what I have been able to determine he Commanded the following:

October 1895 - Aug 1900 - Eisenbahn und Telegraph Regiment - Oberst

Aug 1900 - April 1905 13 Infantry Brigade - Oberst and Generalmajor .

He retired from servicer in November 1906. The 1916 was a typo by me....sorry.

Sorry, but I am away from home at this time, but once I am back at home (Wednesday my time) I will search for the information.
