    1. The heads are full-size and are of ceramic. They are the best that I have ever found for display. A friend of mine found them in Kingston, Ontario so I cannot quote a price or current availability. If you are interested I can try to track the gent down but shipping to Oz may prove to be prohibitive.
    2. Not quite to the same calibre but here are a couple of Canadian helmets that I own. The first is a 1950s era helmet to the Royal Canadian Dragoons and a 1903-dated example to the Governor General's Body Guard.
    3. You may like to visit http://www.servicepub.com/women.htm for a large number of photos of CWACs (and other women's services) in different orders of dress.
    4. There is one book on Canadian-made helmets " Tin Lids" by Roger Lucy examines the use and manufacture of combat helmets by the Canadian military from 1916 to the present.
    5. The second title is definitely "INF" for Infantry. The lower title may be a 138th/Canada title and not the better known "Canada" variant. Some information on these can be found in my book "Khaki - Uniforms of the Canadian Expeditionary Force"
    6. Several years ago I met the SA Defence Attache to Ottawa. We discussed medals and he told me that he had one which included a diamond. This medal also allowed the use of post-nominals by the holder. He was too modest to provide much more than this (and it was a struggle to get that much out of him). Does anyone have an image and info on this decoration?
    7. This site is a registry of Ram tanks and variants such as Kangaroos, Badgers, etc....
    8. Below is a display I set up at the annual convention of the Company of Military Historians. It consists of uniforms of the disbanded Canadian Guards, the Governor General's Foot Guards (my former regiment), the Grenadier Guards and the Governor General's Horse Guards. On the left side is a small TV playing a 20 minute video of the 1974 Changing of the Guard in Ottawa (I was a Platoon Cmdr that year) on the right is a laptop that ran a slide show of all of the items, complete with closeups and captions. The small display case in the middle holds cap badges and buckles to the GGFG.
