    2. "GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS!" Within the Army of the United State's Coast Artillery Corps was the MINE PLANTER SERVICE. Here is an idea of what their chevrons/badges looked like, like this 1907 Chief Planter and the 1907 Casement Electrician. Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California (hhbooker2@yahoo.com) Anyone is welcome to use my scans if it does not violate the Forum rules!

    8. Some of the Private First Class, Gas Service chevrons may have been made a year or so after 1918?
    9. "GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS!" Although not in the shape of usual chevrons, these discs for Private First Class, Gas Service, 1917-1920, would have been considered chevrons for all practical purposes. Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California (hhbooker2@yahoo.com) Hesitated giving these away to serious chevron collectors as their quality is often so poor and some were eatten by moths, not making them desireable for a collection on display. Had second thoughts about destroying them so the recipient would not be disappointed at their detrioration?
    10. Private First Class, Tank Corps, 1920-1942.
    11. Master Engineer Senior Grade, Tank Corps. (Two variations)
    12. Private First Class, Tank Corps, 1918-1919. Sergeant, Tank Corps, 1920-1948.
    13. Master Engineer Senior Grade, Tank Corps, 1918-1919.
    14. Master Engineer Senior Grade, Tank Corps, 1917.
    15. "Greetings & Salutations!" Master Electrician Senior Grade, 1918, Tank Corps. From my collection which I am presently donating to serious collectors of chevrons. Some of these are already in the collections of others. I scan or photograph all I get so it can be shared later like we do here. Enjoy! Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California (hhbooker2@yahoo.com)
    16. A full ADMIRAL in the CIVIL ENGINEER CORPS as worn by ADM Ben Morrell, C.E.C., "Father of the Sea-Bees."
    17. Here is another rank mark, a 1945 FLEET ADMIRAL rank mark.
    18. Variation of the other rank mark worn by Admiral of the Navy George Dewey.
    19. "GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS!" Thirty or more years ago I once illustrated in pen and India ink on 8X11 and 11X17 velumpaper paper about 400% larger than actual size various insignia like these naval rank marks (shoulder boards) showing line and branch commodores and admirals, including those of ADMIRAL OF THE NAVY George Dewey and for FLEET ADMIRALS Halsey, King, Leahy, and Nimitz. Drawings were based on actual rank marks. Oddly enough no one ever came forward to claim the artwork which I've been known to give away to first to ask is first to get free, plus I paid postage and handling too! Let me know what you think of these insignia and add more if you have them. Thanks! Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California (hhbooker2@yahoo.com)
    20. "Greetings & Salutations!" Here is an olive-green cotton cap said to have been worn by a soldier in the army of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam? Sarge Booker of Tujunga
