    1. Any know the Medals and Decorations of AUGUST VON GOEBEN

      The biography of Wikipedia

Born at Stade in Hanover, he aspired from his earliest years to the Prussian service rather than that of his own country, and at the age of seventeen, obtained a commission in the 24th Regiment of Prussian infantry. But there was little scope for the activities of a young and energetic subaltern, and, leaving the service in 1836, enlisted in the Carlist army fighting the First Carlist War in Spain. In the five campaigns in which he served Don Carlos, he had many turns of fortune. He had not fought for two months when he fell, severely wounded, into the hands of the Spanish royalist troops. After eight months detention, he escaped, but it was not long before he was captured again. This time his imprisonment was long and painful, and on two occasions, he was compelled to draw lots for his life with his fellow captives. When released, he served until 1840 with distinction (I BELIEVE THAS WAS AWARDED WITH THE ORDER OF SAINT FERDINAND, AMONG OTHERS). In that year, he made his way back, a man without means, to Prussia. The Carlist lieutenant colonel was glad to be re-admitted into the Prussian service as a second lieutenant, but he was still young, and few subalterns could claim five years meritorious war service at the age of twenty four. In a few years, he was a captain on the Great General Staff, and in 1848, he had the good fortune to be transferred to the staff of the IV Army Corps, his immediate superior being Major Helmuth Graf von Moltke. The two men became fast friends, and their mutual esteem was never disturbed. In the Baden insurrection, Goeben distinguished himself on the staff of Prince William, the future emperor. Staff and regimental duty (as usual in the Prussian service) alternated for some years after this, until in 1863, he became major-general commanding the 26th Infantry Brigade. In 1860, he was present with the Spanish troops in Morocco, and took part in the Battle of Tetuan.

Also I believe that this was awarded with the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross

Any info and images are very wellcome

    2. What is the post of the 'Order del Yoke and the Arrows' in the order of precedence you compiled above ??

This is a civil and political decorations. Always afhter of all the military decorations

See for the more info http://www.coleccionesmilitares.com/medallas/texto/yugoflecha.htm

Yes, I believe that Ettore Muti received the :

      - Spain, 'Cruz de Guerra', without palms and with 'blue central background'.

The ribbon worn in his ribbon bar is identical to that of the below attached photo.

    3. I believe that she is a War Cross for officiers will grant al personal that she will have made acts or "very outstanding" services that had extraordinary effectiveness for the development del it fights or it battles.

      - For chiefs, plaque with silver bottom.

Cross military with Palms will grant to the personnel who, having proposed for Promotion or Military Medal, totally does not fill the indicated conditions, but if he reunites them superior to the demanded for the Cross military.

      - The plaque described with the variations of being of dark red enamel the shield, that takes to the legend "AL M?RITO EN CAMPA?A" and the addition of two superposed crossed gold palms.

The Order of 15.01.1940 authorizes the personnel who is in possession of the War Cross so that he takes in the ribbon bar, like symbol, an equal silk ribbon which he represented the old Cross of Maria Cristina width of three centimeters, divided in three equal parts: the central, with the national flag colour (red/yellow/red), and those of the flanks, white, with a crimson edge, of a millimeter.

The last image corresponds to a CROSS for enlisteds of the Order of Maria Cristina, not to a War Cross

Also I have found this, but not if is the same person

DECREE by which Knight of the Imperial Order del Yoke and the Arrows, granting to him the Grand Cross to Mr. Ettore Muti, Minister Secretary of the Facist Party of Italy and General Consul of the M.V.S.N.

In this case, before the contradictory news, not as ribbon to leave and of course, whatever it has information that any people to make me arrive to correct the errors of the ribbon plates, that do not doubt in doing it, and as soon as is possible to me I will update the plates

I believe that the maker of this badges are Castells (Barcelona)

      a) Gold, only when the designated personality shows the position of President of honor of the Academy. And that used so in the own acts of the Corporation like symbol of high hierarchy.

      b) Silver (the image), for those Spanish personalities, Hispano-American and foreign that the Academy decides its concession

    10. The Royan and Distinguished Spanish Order of Carlos III were instituted by King Carlos III, by royal certificate of 19.9.1771, with the aim to decorate meritorious individuals. The motto with which it equipped his founder to it from his creation, "VIRTUTI ET MERITO", is the best indicative of the purpose of the Order, because they would be the personal virtues and the merit reached in the service to the Crown the personal articles that had to accompany to those who attractive with were so distinguished Order.

In this purpose of awarding the merit in the service to the State, the Royal and Distinguished Spanish Order of Carlos III respect to the honour institutions was meant of the time of its creation, and since then it has not left that character.

The Order of Carlos III are highest of the Spanish civil Orders and it is between oldest of those than at the moment they are conserved in the world.

Although modified the first statutes when the occasion made it necessary, seems that the numerous changes experienced in the social and political reality of Spain, as well as the necessity to adapt the norm of the Order to the effective legal-administrative ordering, advises the update of their Regulation in 2002
