Hello dear fellow members, I would like to get your opinions on this Kingdom Bulgarian paratrooper badge because someone told me that the laurel wrath should not be cast although I found some other badges that had the same exact type of casted laurel wrath. From what I’ve searched on web I found that this type of badge was issued in the last part of the war to the second group of Bulgarian paratroopers, 500 men trained in Bulgaria and at Kralevo airfield in occupied Yugoslavia. Please let me know what you think. The badge appears to be worn and the most obvious is in the right part of the laurel wrath. Hello! I’ve come in possession of this beautiful WW1 EK2 with magnetic core and non-magnetic frame and I observed that it has an hallmark on the ring which I couldn’t identify. Someone told me that it could be the hallmark of Friedlander-Berlin but I compared the hallmarks and the piece and I think they don’t match. The hallmark could resemble either an “CD” either an “5” or an “S”. If anybody can help me I would be very pleased. Hello, When I started the research about the piece, it was not listed for sale, but in the meantime something else appeared for sale that is in my main interest and I’ve thought to sell it because I need the money to buy that item. The second reason is because I love history very much and for me, the research it’s like a treasure hunt, where I acquire important informations about how to find and how to recognise the recipients of the Medals and Orders that belonged to Germany. I don’t think that OMSA would put fake orders and medals as references. As you can observe in the pictures below the Eagle is not casted, it is made from three different pieces. And it would make sense to not make it entire from gold, because it would be too heavy (it has 73 grams). I think that tomorrow I will go and have it tested for gold. Hello Sir, Thank you for you opinion, but honestly I think the badge is original having in thought the striking details from the Eagle, or the incredible paintings that are on the middle. Please do not forget that the shield is only 16 millimeters in height and 12 millimeters wide, so for that size, the painting is of a rare beauty (the details like the bridge, the auroch or the dolphins). The photo you show me as original it is exactly the same piece (number 9 on the pin and the shield is damaged on the upper left side). Regards.

Hello dear fellows, Few years ago I’ve bought this medal or order (it was formed from an 3 pieces lot, one Romanian regimental badge issued in 1934 and another foreign regimental badge) and since then I’ve tried to find out informations about it but I couldn’t find anything. One collector told me that this is the Romanian Order Alpha and Omega but I couldn’t find anything that confirms this or even any informations about the order. The cross without the chain is weighing exactly 35 grams and with chain is weighing 44 grams. It’s height is 66 Millimeters with the fixed ring, it is 44 millimetres wide and the chain is measuring exactly 100 Millimeters (10 cm). The middle cartouche appear to be made from separate pieces. I couldn’t identify the hallmarks, but to me, they look much older than the 30’ hallmarks. There also is a hallmark with a crown on the chain, that looks similar with the hallmark from the cross. Hello, From my researches I found out that in the period of 1934-1935 (10 February 1934- 15 November 1935) the President of Romanian Senate was Leonte Moldovan (n. 18 februarie 1865 - d. 18 septembrie 1943) but I couldn’t find anything relevant about him. The legislative corps indeed didn’t and couldn’t survive after Carol II abdication. Best regards, Iulian

I would love to know how many were awarded, becuase I can make an Idea of how rare they were and maybe even find the recipients of the order from 1934. It was awarded one year later after it was instituted. I know that on the pin there is a silver mark (the Crown) but I was referring at the marking that was stamped literally on the eagles left leg. I have bought this wonderful Romanian Eagle Honour Sign made by the jeweller Heinrich Weiss and I have some questions: Can anybody help me with more informations about the number of awarded people or maybe some books where I can find the recipients? I only know that is was awarded to senators and parliamentary. (Any information about the Sign is highly appreciated.) It is possible that the Eagle could be made of gold? Hello, I’ve looked after Reichsgerichtsrat Dr. Max Richard Emil Mansfeld and I have found out a lot of informations but unfortunately I couldn’t find the awards list or even a photo with him. He was born on November 29, 1865 in Wolfenbüttel (a town from Lower Saxony) and died on December 5, 1943 in Leipzig. In 1894 he worked as public prosecutor at the Braunschweig District Court, in 1895 he was promoted as district judge there and in 1896 was promoted as District judge at the Braunschweig Regional Court. In 1906 he was appointed Higher Regional Court Councilor at the Higher Regional Court of Braunschweig. He made the leap to the judge's bench of the Reich Court the following year. In 1922 was elected as Senate President. On December 1st, 1933 he retired. He also wrote some important books which influenced the judiciary system. Some of titles are: - “The legal benefit of the inventory and the position of inheritance creditors, in particular towards a majority of heirs” (1888); - “The publicist claim to reaction and its legal protection in the Duchy of Braunschweig” (1895); - “Change order with comment in annotations and a representation of the change process” (1908); If someone could help me with the award list or tell me where I could find it, I would really appreciate.
