    2. Tony let me know if you do decide to part with them as old tools I collect, could you post images of the outside of the pouch?, are there any other markings on pouch? and are the DRGM numbers the same on each item (116827) ?
    3. the emblem is actually 3 arrows, a circle, and a bridge like item that the arrows pass through in the centre, there is this type of tab illustrated in vol. 2 foreign legions of the third reich, page 244, although the emblem is placed in a different position. It is in the italian section, was if official or unofficial ??????????? cheers Gary
    4. Greg, Great shots, the eagle on his sleeve in post number # 2 also looks interesting looks like there is no black border to it almost as if it was a metal eagle cheers Gary

Tony, I noticed on one of the tangs it has a number then the word registered in english, I am assuming that the number it the pattern number are the other items numbered? also as it is worded in english I would think its an export item, the leather straps on the inside reminds me of how some british leather items are finished anyway it certainly is an interesting kit cheers Gary PS Bontgen & Sabin was still producing items post war until about 1970 I think

    8. well you did good its certainly original with correct series label, just looks as if its been cut short, probably removed from a tunic cheers Gary
