Attached is the gold and silver awards for 4 Special Forces Regiment to SA Special Forces members. Seems like gold was to officers and bronze to NCO's and civil members

Hi Marco and Megan, Sorry for only getting back now on the AEC medals 50 of those awards were issued on 19 April 1994. 2 x Gold 30 x Silver 38 x Bronze Attached article is unfortunately in Afrikaans, but mentioned the names of all recipients. Hi Chris. The ranks were used through the Angolan Bushwar period, up to close to 1995. The wings are still in use for many years already, although they don't use the nutria material wing on the current camoflage uniforms. They used them for a while until the mint colour insignia came out, to be worn with the Soldier 2000 uniforms.. See my attached uniforms with some different insignia Regards Archie

Hi Marco, All the awards on your picture, were designed for all Municipal/Metropolitan Police Services in South Africa and not only for the City of Ekurhuleni. The cross on the top right is the Canine & Equine Cross for Bravery, awarded to all animals, dogs and horses for bravery in the line of duty. Regards Archie

Hi Marco, Its definitely not a 30 years medal, but the very scarce silver Transkei Independence Medal, minted and issued to some offivers. The same ribbon as the bronze. Good buy, well done Regards Archie
