Thank you very much for the quick response and for sharing the photo of your two (2) similar badges. I've probably handled a couple of hundred Army proficiency badges over the years but these are the first such smaller badge I've seen. Eric

Picked up a [1st Class?] Japanese Army wagon driver badge the other day and was surprised how small the badge was when I compared the badge to other Army proficiency badges I have. The badge in question has the right kanji on the back side of the badge, appears to be original, but the size of the badge has me wondering now if the badge is original or not. Any and all thoughts. comments, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
