      OK, thanks! I'm putting together a repro m/1910 and I think I'll go without insignia on the shoulder boards. Probably.

      I have a question for you knowledgeable people: Did Army officers always have insignia on their shoulder boards besides rank pips? Like a regimental number? Or could, let's say, an infantry Leutnant's tunic have shoulder boards with nothing on them?
