Thought I would show a couple of Hakenkreuzen taken from Bf 109 aircraft, and at least the small portion of tail has survived over the years, I will start off with an example that is displayed at the RAAF Museum at Point Cook, on the outskirts of Melbourne.

How about one that went across to the other side, this was a recent pick up by a local collector who picked it up from one of the battlefield relic sites that offer ground dug items from Russia, I think it is a bit out of the ordinary, and as for the cost, couldn't see some one ruining a good Luftwaffe buckle to make this up, so a good chance it is correct, a standard Luftwaffe Other Ranks buckle with the addition of a star so a Russian soldier could wear it.

Some fantastic comparisons and detective work.

It is an RAF pith helmet from between the wars I think, a friend of mine has a mint example in his collection too, will verify it with him.

I know, not exactly a cloth patch, but a good Aussie recognition image, the steel red painted kangaroo on the stacks of 'Toowoomba'.

And for a view of an 'Anzac' class of frigate (based on the German Meko 200 design), here is a photo of HMAS Toowoomba.

One that I wore way back in 1972, for Medium Tank Trials, we did the communications for the portion of the trials that were based out of Sellheim camp near Charters Towers, North Queensland. The types of tanks involved were the Leopard 1, and the US M60, with the Leopard being accepted into the Australian Army as a result.

Nice brassard Johnsy, my eldest son served with 103 Sig Squadron in East Timor, and rubs it in to me that when he came back to Australia he was flown back in a Luftwaffe aircraft. (as I have a few Luftwaffe items in the collection, I have never flown in a Lw aircraft!).

Here ia a brassard that was worn by a cousin attached to the Commonwealth games last year.

Hi guys,

The price was Australian $260.00, and I added the helmets and MP 40 for the photo, only extras it comes with are the rolled up material on the top, and a page of letraset letters/figures to make up the number plates. (I used an old ESCI 1/9th scale number plate decal for the rear plate as the numbers are a bit too large for all of them to sit right, on the back number plate, and it looks a bit better I think).
