Gentlemen and friends of the imperial iron-this one dropped in today.as you can see the cross is not what you would expect from a clamshell EKI.And-the clamshell itself is also far away from being the "standart" type.Well,as I have also the '39 variation of this clamshell I had to add this one to my collection!

If you look at the eagle painting and the file traces at the cross arm flanges you don't need the weight........

Well, there are not so many examples around that I could tell for sure-but from my own experience I would say no.No big washer or backplate so far.but I've seen not more than a dozen pieces in my collecting live.

Could you post a better shot from the obverse? No angle, just a straight shot? I can't see the crown....from the pin I would say Deumer.

This one dropped in while I was in Bratislava at work-not in perfect condition, but hey-it could be worse......the unmarked variation was one big hole in my collecion8years ago I had one but it was so bad that I decided to sell it without an upgrade in the hand). The other one you have seen before-fully marked DOV with two screws!

No chance to be a good type A or B......in the best case a private purchased piece. But no,I don't like it(better pics would be OK)

This one dropped in while I was in Teheran-a real rare bird(just the 3rd one I've ever seen). No Bargain(Weitze),but totally underrated....good for me.The condition is not what I prefer to have in my collection but sometimes I have to jump over my own shadow.Anyway,no markings exept a little thing like an "F" in the mirror under the pin.my other one has got an "800" stamped at the pin but no markings at the pins reverse.Anyway-I hope you like it.

Thanks Prosper-I've posted it in some other forums but it seems to be a bit unknown(or unwanted....no swaz on it!)I will see what I can get in a trade for it!
Thanks

Don't go for the "375€" piece-the frame is not complete closed.I bought it when it showed up at the Friday update a couple of weeks ago and returned it directly!

To fill the summer hole this one came just in time-heavy worn,a bit rusty and cleaned by someone this Ek has found it#s way into my collection. Of course the condition is not what I would like to have-but hey, some nice day I will find an upgrade.(this is the common variation with the relief maker mark)

This one came in today(bought a lot of imperial stuff at Ebay and overlooked this one totally.made of zinc,in wonderful condition....it took me a while to find out what it is(someone at the MFF has posted a grouping of the II./JG 27 Bären-Jagdgruppe with an identical badge).Have a look-good one?

This one dropped in while I was in Teheran-1870 EKII type B with an old repair of the ribbon ring. The details of the cross are absolutely superb, the battleclasps are the bonus(especially the Mont Valerien). As it's more a kind of medal bar as a single iron cross I've decided to post it in this section....

And the last one-I have to apologize for the bad pics...If I would read the manual of my new Canon I could make much better ones...
