Hi,
I am just starting to learn to "read medal bars". Maybe someone can help me here a little .
As I understand the owner of this medal bar was a soldier or NCO from Saxony. He served in the army before WWI (Imperial Russia medal), fought bravely on the front line (swords with Hindenburg cross and EK2 and FAM) and survive the war (Hindenburg cross). Is this correct?

Here is something new that I got today by post and wanted to share with anothers.
Imperial Germany-Finnish medal bar with two Finnish Liberation war medals:
1. Commemorative Medal of the War of Liberation (Vapaussodan Muistomitali)
2. Cross of Liberty, Medal of Liberty, 1st Class, (1. Luokan Vapaudenmitali),
some brave man, who fought in Finland, got it probably:

Thanks saschaw!
I have one medal bar with St. Anna ribbon myself and its look same of course. But is it make sense? Did Austrians awarded this award to the Imperial Russian persons with St Anna ribbon (what was main ribbon for a Russian awards for non citizens, like I understand ).
Same time this award was with different ribbons anyway? Maybe for Imperial Russia persons got them with St. Anna ribbon? Can someone give more information, I would be very thankful?

Jubilee Decoration Cross Franz Joseph's 60th Anniversary 1848-1908
But is it for civil officials (Jubil?umskreuz f?r Zivilstaatsbedienstete)? I understood that there is supposed to be a plain red ribbon on it. I like to sell this item because I am not collecting Austria Hungary stuff but just it would be interesting to know about this ribbon.

Hi,
My two are here. Left one with the text on the rim. Right one without.
and here is noncombatand one without text. My question: is there also noncombatants medals with this text or all "AUS EROBERTEM GESCHUETZ" one awarded just 12th and 14th June 1871 parade?

The wearer might have removed the Russian decoration in 1914 ...
I was thinking same.
But German pfenning dont match to there as well (even hook is not same level then anothers). What I do with that?

Hello everyone,
I got today my first W?rttenberg mini medal bar and I really like it! Also there must be one Imperial Russia award (probably medal of the St. Anna order). There is "Pfennig" on this place.
Any comments and extra info would be very nice.
Thanks,
Noor
